Steve Price is one of the Original Founding Members of Pablo Cruise. Cory, Steve and Dave have been together since the beginning.

Steve has always been a versatile percussionist as well as a drummer. His work is well respected by many artist and producers alike.

During the 70’s and 80’s Steve was one of the favorites at the Record Plant Studios in Sausalito California. Steve played drums and percussion for Artist Producers like Rick James, on the multi-platinum Street Songs Album, and other projects of Rick’s including the Mary Jane Girls, and Tina Marie. Other artists include Grace Slick, Survivor, and Rex Smith.

Steve’s history includes working with producers like Bill Schnee, Ron Nevison, Elliot Mazer, and has always been revered for his ability to interpret the music, with a unique lyrical drumming style, and percussive sense.

Steve enjoys both acoustic and electronic drums, as well hand percussion instruments. His broad range of musical styles, allows him to be right at home with and acoustic “un plugged” performance.

Steve is also an avid Radio Controlled Helicopter Pilot, and is currently developing his skills in close in aerial photography.
